Platelet rich plasma (face, neck, hair)

A form of regenerative medicine that harnesses and amplifies the natural growth factors found in our blood cells to help heal damaged tissue.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a revolutionary non-surgical, virtually downtime-free procedure that harnesses the power of a patient's own plasma to address a range of cosmetic and wellness concerns. This innovative technique brightens under-eye circles, softens fine lines and wrinkles, fades acne scars and hyperpigmentation, evens out skin tone and texture, and creates a smoother foundation for radiant skin.

PRP is derived from the patient's blood and is rich in growth factors and proteins that stimulate healing. When combined with microneedling, PRP can effectively boost collagen and elastin production, leading to skin renewal and a more plump and uniform appearance.

Beyond its cosmetic applications, PRP therapy has proven to be a remarkable solution for hair concerns. It promotes hair growth in the scalp, reduces hair loss, and enhances overall hair quality. It is frequently employed to support post-hair transplant patients by promoting the growth of newly transplanted follicles.

Here's how the process typically unfolds:

On the day of the appointment, a blood sample is collected and then processed in a centrifuge while the patient's face is numbed using a potent numbing agent. Once the centrifugation process is complete, the platelet-rich plasma is separated from the red blood cells. This PRP is then utilized in various treatments, such as combined with microneedling for facial and neck rejuvenation, under-eye brightening, and injected into the scalp for hair density restoration.

For optimal results, most patients typically require a minimum of three sessions for face, neck, and under-eye PRP treatments. Hair density restoration may necessitate an average minimum of four sessions. These sessions are spaced 4-6 weeks apart to maximize their efficacy. Once the patient is content with the results, ongoing bi-annual or annual maintenance sessions can be scheduled to sustain the achieved outcomes. This versatile and minimally invasive procedure has rapidly gained popularity for its remarkable impact on both skin rejuvenation and hair restoration.
