Dermal Fillers

Otherwise more commonly known as "Fillers" are made out of hyaluronic acid which is a substance that also naturally occurs in our bodies. Fillers are intended to add or restore volume in targeted areas, contour features, and create a refreshed facial structure. One of the most popular areas treated are the lips, which we specialize in at RNRC Aesthetics. Along with other areas that may need to be "filled" in order to add volume such as the cheekbones, undereyes, jawline, chin, smoker's lines, laugh and marionette lines. These treatments typically last up to a year (or longer in some patients). There are many different brands of filler in the market, and at RNRC Aesthetics we use Revanesse and Teosyal brands because of the look, feel and longevity of the products.

Lip fillers

Whether it is to add volume, restore hydration or overal just achieve a more plump look...lip fillers can be as natural or as juicy as you wish. When done strategically with proper technique and product, lip fillers are typically undetectable by the general population. The results are completely unique to every patient's natural anatomy, however we can control the results by altering our approach which different types of filler and method of injection. This is entirely dependent on your aesthetic goals.

Jawline fillers

We use fillers to enhance the jawline area to create a sharper definition and contour. This is indicated for patients with a weaker jawline that lack a defined border between the cheek and the neck. This can enhance your side profile to achieve a more feminine look, or masculine depending on your preference and how it is administered.

Cheekbone fillers

Cheekbone enhancement or contouring with fillers creates a lifted look. It can also create a greater definition for a defined look. When done with other areas like the chin for example, it can create a slimming effect as it tapers and creates a heart shaped face. A staple and necessity when treating signs of aging noted in the lower face, it creates a balance as it provides the face with a foundation and structure.

Chin filler

Chin filler is an area that creates a large impact on the overall shape of the face. Treating it with fillers can feminize the face as it tapers the lower face into a V, extends the chin in patients with weak or receding chins. As well as improves the patient's overall side profile. A very common area to treat in patients looking to achieve a face that is less round.

Laugh lines and Marionette lines

A tell-tale sign of aging and gravity are the marionette and laugh lines. The laugh lines are indicated by the upper arrows from the corner of the nose to the upper corners of the lips. The marionette lines are indicated by the lower lines and become more evident as we age. Fillers can soften the look of these lines, and optimal results are achieved when upper areas of the face such as the cheeks are also treated to create a lifting "effect". It is best to address these areas holistically by treating upper areas of the face, as sole treatment of the lines can create an unnatural outcome in certain cases.

Under eyes - to improve the dark pigmentation and hollowness

Smoker's lines- to soften the vertical lines above the lip (can be from smoking or just natural)

Cheeks- aside from the cheekbones, filler can be added to other areas of the cheek to restore lost volume and create a lifted look

Pre-jowls- to camouflage the look of sagging skin along the jawline

We also dissolve old and unwanted filler. Especially lip filler that has to be reset from scratch.
